In 2015, I had the privilege of exploring Cuba together with journalist Bettina Peulecke and capturing both the daily life of the people and the country's unique nature. Our route took us from Vinales via Havana to the picturesque Parque Almendares and further east to the Alexander von Humboldt National Park in Cuba. This trip also marked my first experience with the Leica Monochrom, capturing the rich shading and depth of Cuba in black and white.
